The City of Harrison invests in continuous training to keep our community safe. This October, several members of the Harrison Fire Department joined regional first responders for a safety course called Firefighting Fundamentals for CNG (Compressed Natural Gas) Vehicles , hosted by Rumpke Waste & Recycling in partnership with the Colerain Township Fire Department. The Harrison Fire Department has welcomed a new recruit and he has four legs and a tail. Keiser, a German shepherd, is in training to become both a certified search-and-rescue K9 and a source of emotional support for firefighters.
