The City of Harrison invests in continuous training to keep our community safe. This October, several members of the Harrison Fire Department joined regional first responders for a safety course called Firefighting Fundamentals for CNG (Compressed Natural Gas) Vehicles , hosted by Rumpke Waste & Recycling in partnership with the Colerain Township Fire Department. The specialized session focused on the unique characteristics of CNG vehicles and best practices for combating CNG

The Harrison Fire Department has welcomed a new recruit and he has four legs and a tail. Keiser, a German shepherd, is in training to become both a certified search-and-rescue K9 and a source of emotional support for firefighters.
