This summer the Harrison Fire Department welcomed new firefighters, received long-awaited ambulance, and enhanced training, to strengthen community safety.

A New Ambulance, Three Years in the Making
After a three-year wait, the Fire Department proudly received its new ambulance, equipped with updated technologies that make it easier to troubleshoot and service. The new diagnostic system helps identify issues faster, improving reliability, and reducing downtime - ensuring the ambulance is ready when the community needs it the most!

Welcoming Four New Firefighters
We are proud to welcome four new members to the Fire Department. Firefighters Johnny Swiecki, Ben Kaake, Mae Cooper, and Jake Todd. Each of them has demonstrated commitment to service and has been hard at work completing training to prepare for the challenges of the job. These individuals were inducted at the City Council meeting on August 5, 2025. Welcome to the Harrison team!
Behind the Scenes of Training
Ongoing EMS and safety training ensures that firefighters are prepared for any emergency, keeping Harrison residents safe around the clock. A small glimpse into the unseen dedication that ensures Harrison is ready when emergencies arise.
